HOW THE TRAINING IS STRUCTURED
This training platform is organized into focused learning buckets, each designed to address a specific need within the electrical industry. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, the training is structured so students, electricians, inspectors, and contractors can engage with the material that is most relevant to their work and professional goals.
Each bucket builds practical understanding, reinforces safety and compliance, and reflects real-world electrical conditions
Foundational NEC Understanding
This bucket forms the core foundation of the training platform. It focuses on building a clear and
practical understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), beginning with definitions and
progressing into applied code concepts. Instruction is graphic-based and designed to help students
recognize code requirements visually, not just through text
Inspector Code Violation Training
This bucket is designed to help electricians and contractors understand how inspectors evaluate
installations in the field. Training focuses on common violations, unsafe conditions, and
inspection-driven code enforcement using visual examples that show compliant and non-compliant
installations.
Jobsite Calculations & Electrical Planning
This bucket addresses the practical calculations and planning decisions electricians and contractors
face on the jobsite. Instruction focuses on real-world calculations, system sizing concepts, and planning
considerations rather than academic theory.
Field Power Factor Correction for Contractors
This bucket introduces a field-based opportunity that many contractors are not currently offering.
This training introduces contractors to field power factor measurement, basic data collection, and installation concepts, allowing them to partner on correction solutions that reduce customer utility costs.
How the Buckets Work Together
While each bucket can stand on its own, the training is designed so knowledge from one area
strengthens understanding in others. Students may engage with one or multiple buckets depending on
their role, experience level, and professional goals.
Purpose of the Structured Approach
The goal of this structure is to provide clear learning paths, practical application, and professional
relevance without unnecessary complexity.
